Located near the Valley of Fire and administered by the Bureau of Land Management, the Logandale Trails System is a recreation area that is open to both motorized and non-motorized user activities. For 4x4 vehicles, motorcycles, and ATVs, there are designated trails for rough riders as well as less difficult trails. There is a major cut gravel road which allows you to access "play areas" along the way, and brings you back to the front trail head from the end of the run. There's another large sand area that's complete with dunes, multiple hill climbs and enough sand to get burried to your axles if you loose momentum and travel into some of the deep drifts.

The development of the Logandale Trails System was the result of a unique cooperative effort between organized recreational groups and county, state, federal and local agencies. The land north of Valley of Fire is administered by the Bureau of Land Management, which has given permission to let this beautiful area be developed. The cooperative efforts are coordinated by the Nevada Trails Coalition. Many organizations and government agencies have contributed to the plans for the region. Work has been accomplished through volunteer labor from concerned interests such as off-road vehicle users, hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, motorcyclists and others. A total of 2,300 volunteer hours have been expended in this first phase of the two-phase plans.

Visitors should bring drinking water as there is none available in this developing multiuse area. Also plan to take your refuse out of the area for disposal. Responsible users police areas they visit for litter and remove that as well, ensuring that the public lands remain attractive and safe for all uses.

Future plans for the region include laying out and signing more trails. Eventually, these routes should link up with a network of trails serving varied recreational uses throughout Clark County.
